1001 Royal Avenue HVAC Design Project

This project involved the design of an entire new HVAC system for a Two story, 10,000 square foot Head Office for Affordable Housing Society and a Day Care Centre on the second floor. E-Factor preapred a deign that included eight heat pumps, and with R410a refrigerant with low ambient control kits. A Johnson Controls DDC system consiting of Facility Explorer MD20 Master Display, and TEC2000 Series Network Thermostat Controllers. Exhaust fans were installed in washrooms for ventialtion and fresh air was suppleid passively to the inlets of the heat pumps.

An E-Quest analysis was performed to optimize the equipment sizing and to ensure adequate cooling was provide for the Southern exposed offices.
